The Invoice Generator creates a professional, ready-to-send invoice directly in your browser.
Enter your business details, your client’s details, and your line of items, the tool calculates subtotals, per-line amounts, and the grand total automatically, then renders a clean invoice you can print or download as a JPEG or PDF.
The generated output can be sent/shared with your customer either as JPEG or PDF.
Small shop owners issuing receipts on the spot
Freelancers confirming a deposit or final payment
Service providers (salons, repair shops, tutors) who need a paper trail
Anyone who wants a receipt that looks better than a handwritten note
Each line item has three inputs: Description, Quantity, and Rate. The line total is:
Line Total = Quantity × Rate
The Grand Total is the sum of every line:
Grand Total = Σ (Quantity × Rate)
There are no hidden service fees, no tax calculator, and no rounding surprises. What you see in the preview is exactly what your client will see. Currency can be set to Naira (₦), Dollar ($), Pound (£), or Euro (€).
No. Every field you fill in: business name, client name, line items, notes stays in your browser’s memory. Nothing is sent to our servers, nothing is logged, and nothing is saved between visits. When you close the tab, the data is gone. This is deliberate: an invoice often contains client names and amounts that shouldn’t be on anyone else’s server.
Yes! 100% free, no account, no watermark, no “upgrade to remove branding.” The only thing on the invoice is a small “Generated by Code & Capital” line, which you can replace with your own footer by editing the notes field before generating.
The Print button opens your browser’s print dialog with the invoice laid out on a clean page. You can save as PDF from there using “Save as PDF” as the destination.
The Download JPEG and Download PDF buttons render the invoice using an in-browser renderer, then hand you a file named invoice-YYYY-MM-DD.jpg or invoice-YYYY-MM-DD.pdf. The PDF export requires an active internet connection the first time, because the PDF renderer loads once from a public CDN and is then cached.
Yes. The layout is responsive and the print dialog works on iOS and Android.
Yes — pick the closest currency from the dropdown and edit the symbol in the Notes field, or replace the amount formatting after download.
Not directly. Add a separate line item called “VAT (7.5%)” and enter the tax amount as the rate with quantity 1.
